International solidarity for a better future for abandoned children

At Care4KidsIndia we improve the living conditions of abandoned children in India on a modest scale.

As an initiative of international solidarity, we are committed to providing these children with a better future. Together we work to create a loving environment in which they can grow up and develop.

Care4KidsIndia supports SHARE Kids Home, a children's home near Eluru, Andra Pradesh, India.

Thambi Mulupuri, the founder and driving force behind SHARE Kids Home, is committed to providing a better future for as many abandoned children as possible.

Together with Thambi and team we strive to improve the lives of these children and give them the opportunity to grow up in a loving environment.

Care4KidsIndia vzw

Peter Kupers has been active in India since the late 90s and has built up an impressive network in the business world, government and spiritual world. In 2017 he met Thambi Mulupuri, with whom he has been working together for years to support Share Kids Home and to provide for its financial needs.

In 2023, it was time to shift things into high gear and the care for the orphanage became part of Care4KidsIndia, a registered organization working for vulnerable children in India.

Children from the tribal areas have extremely few chances to climb the social ladder in India that is determined by your caste, not to mention the struggle to build a decent life. Let alone if such a child ends up all alone, without parents, without family. These children have a great chance of falling into the hands of child laborers, child prostitution and organ trafficking gangs.

We want to show with our concept and the children also show effectively that this vicious circle can be broken. What makes our concept so unique? It is all about love, care and challenge.

Our children thrive in an environment where they feel loved and encouraged to push their limits. And it works! Our children not only get good grades in school, they excel in their performance. And with one exception, they all attend an English Medium School, a guarantee for solid and quality education.

We create an environment where children are surrounded by a warm and loving environment, with good nutrition, a good and safe shelter, a solid education and a well-thought-out balance between school, free time and sports activities.

Where possible, we continue to nurture family ties so that they remain connected to their roots. Together we build their future!

Central to our concept is “I care for you. I am here for you.” That a child knows: I matter and someone cares about me.

Warmth, love and security are so important for the growth of the child's brain. The higher the quality of the so-called white matter connections in the brain, the better the functioning. If a child grows up with love, these connections in the brain become stronger. There are more points of contact.

Without love and safety, damage occurs and quality decreases. Stress - and that is there without food, love from family or bonding with friends - has a great impact on the brain. While the connections built up in the brain help to control impulses. It ensures that you can empathize with others. It keeps fear in check and helps to understand language. Qualities that every child desperately needs.

In addition to that love and security, there is something else very important for the optimal development of the brain: challenge. Because when a child is challenged, the brain works optimally. Think of doing your best at school, helping to plant the plants in the garden, sports, music. Everything that can be offered in terms of new stimuli. Letting a child make an effort for something is very humane.

The love, security and challenge that our 30 children receive daily is essential to give the child the best chance. So that they get a fair chance at a good future. That is what every child deserves.
